Arlene Kaatz, Receptionist

My duties as the receptionist for Dr. Sheehan include scheduling appointments, filing insurance claims, payments, charting, and data entry. I have worked in the dental field since 1996 and with Dr. Sheehan since 1998. I feel fortunate to work with Dr. Sheehan because he has a very easy-going disposition. I love seeing our patients happy with their beautiful smiles, and visiting with patients is my favorite part of my job.

I am originally from Chicago and have resided in Oak Forest since 1977. My husband, Kraig, and I have to sons, Kyle and Kellen. Outside of work, I enjoy gardening, walking, reading, church functions, and attending conventions.

Jackie Sternberg, Dental Hygienist

I am a dental hygienist for Dr. Sheehan and my duties include oral assessment, periodontal probing, routine cleanings, deep scale quadrant periodontal treatment, fluoride treatments, digital x-rays, patient charting, and operatory sanitization. I have been in the field of dentistry since 1977 and I’m fortunate to have worked with Dr. Sheehan since 2003. He offers a stress-free, team-oriented atmosphere! My favorite thing about the practice of dentistry is helping my patients achieve optimal oral health by educating them on proper care and prevention.

I am a native of Illinois and outside of work I enjoy hiking, gardening, reading, and visiting friends and family.

Carol Booth, Dental Assistant

My duties include assisting Dr. S with dental procedures as well as setting up and cleaning the treatment rooms. I’ve worked with Dr. S since 2000 and have been in the dental field since 1995. Dr. S has a great since of humor, and we have some delightful patients. It’s rewarding helping to keep their smiles beautiful!  Talking with patients about all the interesting things going on in their lives is one of the greatest perks of my job.

I am a native of Illinois and currently live in Worth, IL, with my husband, Mark. I love my cats, and enjoy eating out, reading, and walking!

Adrienne Joyce, Hygienist

My favorite thing about the practice of dentistry is knowing that people are healthier because of what we teach and do for them. I’ve been in the field of dentistry since 2001 and feel fortunate to have been with Dr. Sheehan since 2002. There is never a dull moment with our staff! The greatest part of my job is making our patients’ smiles brighter and healthier.

My husband, Jeffrey, and I reside in Oak Forest, and when I’m not at the office I enjoy reading, playing tennis, and watching movies at home.

Rena Sheehan, Dental Hygienist

As a dental hygienist, I assist Dr. Sheehan by performing teeth cleanings, digital x-rays, and patient education. I’ve worked in the dental field since 1979 and with Dr. Sheehan since 1986. Working with different patients everyday and helping them keep their smiles healthy is the best part of my job. I enjoy working with Dr. Sheehan because he takes the time with each patient and doesn’t rush through an appointment.

Originally from the Chicago area I currently reside in Tinley Park with my husband, Mike. We have two sons, Tyler and Dylan. My non-work activities include running, walking, working out at the gym. I am also the president of Victor J. Andrew Athletics.

Anne Gallagher, Dental Hygienist

Cleanings, charting, x-rays, stocking and ordering are just a few of my duties as a dental hygienist! I’ve been working in the dental field since 1986 and with Dr. Sheehan since 2004. I work in a great office and with a great staff. Getting to know patients and their families and seeing them grow is my favorite thing about the practice of dentistry.

I am originally from Burbank, Illinois and have lived in Evergreen park since 1988. I have a great family: my husband, Sean; daughter, Valerie; son, Patrick; mother, Evelyn; and, granddaughter, Lilyana. Outside of work, I enjoy aerobics, swimming, walking my dog, and boating.
